I had an 8:00 AM appointment, but the work on my car didn’t start until almost 9:00 AM. I came at a time your remodeling was in full gear. And, I was told by Mike that the waiting room was not set up, but if I preferred he could get me a ride to work or back to my house. I chose to stay. I appreciate that it didn’t take long to find the problem. I had been trying to find the problem for over a week and was getting very frustrated. During this COVID-19 pandemic it is not good to have a vehicle that won’t start. Thank you and team Electric Lab for the repair on my car. It’s truly a blessing to get in my car and it start. The diagnostics on my 08 ford exp. was satisfying, but to get my truck back took 8 days , a little slower than what I planned,

Overall I’m pleased with Electric Laboratories findings letting me know that I was correct in my own diagnosis with my vehicle. They were kind and helpful in ways I didn’t expect, if I needed work done again I would certainly choose them. Thank you all at Electric Laboratories

My car's battery was draining every couple of days & I knew it was not the battery. I had just bought the battery in November 2019 & it checked out as okay everytime my roadside service would jump start the car.---------------------- Initially I took the car (2003 Yukon) to my regular repair shop (Goodguys @ Blackstone/Ashlan) and they ran a diagnostic on the car & found that the instrument cluster was draining the battery. Goodguys then referred me to a GMC-Chevy dealer or Electric Laboratories since the repair job was an electrical problem.------------------ I showed up for appointment at Michael Chevy & spoke to Ernie about my car problems & he recommended I take my car to another repair shop. The reason for the recommendation was because Michael Chevy would charge too much to have my batter drain issue repaired.--------------- Ernie stated the diagnosis fee was set at a $169 per hour fee and until the problem is found. And on top of the diagnostic fee & repair and labor costs would probably be more than I would be willing to pay for such an old car. I have never heard of a repair shop charging a per hour fee so I left & took my car to Electric Laboratories who charge a flat fee of $172 for the diagnostic fee. Ernie left me with a feeling that I would not be returning to Michael Chevy for repairs or the purchase of a vehicle.---------------- I quickly called Electric Laboratories & spoke with Travis was told the diagnostic fee was a flat $172 & that I should bring my car in. I was calling from the Michael Chevy parking lot.‐---------------------- Well, guess what? I left my car & the instrument cluster problem was confirmed & repaired. But the story gets better, along with the diagnostic test the repair shop inspected everything on the car including fuses, interior/exterior lights, fluids etc.---------------------- Mike (service advisor) called to tell me that he would be emailing me the list of the recommended repairs & the list would be broken down urgency.----------------- The list came in with total of about $2500. I was not shocked at the price, in fact the total was less than I had estimated. I had been saving for a while because I knew that some of repairs on the list would need to be taken care soon.------------------------- I would like thank everyone at Electric Laboratories especially Mike. Mike kept me updated on the status of the repairs & made the experience a pleasant one.-------------- Keep up the great work! This is an Honest & Friendly business that can be trusted with your car repairs.--------------- Best regards, Monica
